Brew Sampler

A couple of weeks ago, after JKD class, a few of us went to a local BJs for one of the girl’s birthdays. I decided to give the dark and amber brew sampler a try. It consisted of 5 oz. glasses of the Tatonka Stout, PM Porter, Nutty Brewnett and Jeremiah Red. Of the four I discovered I liked the Red best. Considering I usually go for the darker lagers I was a bit surprised, but it will definitely get ordered again.

Here’s the brief on the Red from the BJs site:
BJ’s Jeremiah Red® – A Silver Medal winner in Strong Ales at the 1996 Great American Beer Festival. This Irish-style strong ale is brewed with a secret blend of five imported specialty malts. Not too hoppy in order to emphasize the complex malt flavor and fruity aroma.
